Sales Policy...

We do offer a few select horses for sale each year.   We are dedicated to providing quality sport horses, whether their chosen purpose is as a professional’s Show Hunter or Jumper,  adult amateur Dressage mount,  trusted companion,  or a future member
of a breeding herd.

Finding the best match for a Horse and new Owner is extremely important to us.
We are committed to representing  all of our sales horses as honestly and fairly as possible, and go to great lengths to ensure our prices are fair and competitive.

01

DEPOSITS -

We regret that we cannot hold any of our horses or give preference to any buyer without a deposit.  Deposits will entitle the client to right of first refusal of the horse for a period of time to be determined.  Once the deposit is made, the horse will not be sold to another buyer for the agreed time period, allowing enough time for arrangements for a visit, vetting and/or purchase to be made. Deposits can be made electronically or by cashier or bank check, wire transfer, or cash.

02

PRE-PURCHASE EXAMINATIONS -

We welcome an optional veterinary examination on any of our horses prior to purchase. This may be performed by a veterinarian of the buyer’s choice and may be as thorough as desired.  All costs associated with the pre-purchase exam are the buyer’s responsibility.

03

TRIAL PERIODS -

Unfortunately,  we do not allow trial periods on our horses. This is due to the fact that many of our horses are babies, or young green prospects and the quality of their training and care cannot be supervised or monitored while they are off the premises.  The buyer is welcome to make as many visits as they like to try the horse and it may be possible for a serious buyer to try the horse at different facilities to further ascertain its suitability.

04

PAYMENT -

Payment is accepted via electronic transfer, Cashier or Bank check, bank/wire transfer and cash.  Personal checks will not be accepted.   No horse will be allowed to leave the farm until paid for in full, with no exception.  Upon receipt of a signed sales agreement, ownership transfers to buyer, as does all risk of loss, injury, any related expenses for the horse, etc.  All applicable registration papers, Coggins, and other documents including an executed bill of sale will be forwarded to the buyer immediately upon receipt of payment in full for the horse.

05

TRANSPORTATION -

Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with transportation of the horse once purchase is completed.  We are happy to provide names and references of several reputable shippers for local and long distance hauling.

06

GUARANTEES -

Our horses are sold as-is with no warranties or guaranties expressed or implied, and all sales are final, as expressed in our Bill of Sale. All horses we represent for sale are self-owned, with only a few select exceptions which will be disclosed.  All known issues or conditions are fully disclosed to the best of our knowledge prior to purchase, and we regret that in fairness we cannot be responsible for a horse’s condition once it has left our premises.  A veterinary exam is strongly encouraged, to allow the buyer to make a confident, educated decision.  It is also suggested a buyer seek professional advice on the horse’s suitability for their intended purpose.
Due to our concern for everyone's best interest, please note that we reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone if we feel it is not the right home or match.

07

WELCOME HOME POLICY -

Any horse we have bred or sold is welcome to return home to us at any time, for any reason, no questions asked.
We are especially interested in mares from our program, should the need for a career change or injury prevent further sport advancement.

We will do our best to assist owners with placements into new situations as well, for any reason or circumstance.
