Quartz F.M. is a one of our best mares, having produced several top quality offspring.  She is long lined and correct, with a strong and robust frame.  Her movement is powerful active and supple, and she free jumps with style, scope and strength! 

She is a wonderful producing daughter of  the KWPN stallion Kannan, who year after year remains among the top sires for international showjumpers on the World Breeding Federation standings.  
Quartz’s dam Colett is a Holsteiner daughter of Losander, a Lord son, out and out of a Caletto II mother.  Her dam is a maternal sister to the Approved Oldenburg Stallion, Le Vainqueur.  Quartz's damline is all Holsteiner, (Stam 5382) and has produced winning sporthorses as well as the Approved breeding stallions, LeVainqueur, Ladas, Caballero and Casco.

 

Quartz has produced several exceptional offspring:

Stevie Wonder by Stolzenburg was the 4yr old Canadian National Young horse Jumper Champion in 2009!
Salvo RSF by Sir Gregory is currently taking the Canadian Hunter Derby circuit by storm after his big success as the 6 Yr old Jumper winner at the Angelstone Young Horse Championships in 2018
I Love Lindor S by Ilian du Taute is doing the 1.20M Low Jumpers.

Kanndid SPF by Banderas was a winner at the YHS Finals in the 3 YO Under Saddle class.
Jurassic SPF by Quinar was awarded 1st Premium at his Keuring, won the Top Young Jumper award of the day and was #3 Nationally of all KWPN Jumper foals.
Obsidian SPF by Utopie was awarded a 1st Premium at his foal keuring, Top score jumper and tied for #5 Nationally of all KWPN Jumper foals. 
 

Quartz  is approved for breeding in the Main Mare book of the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society, and as of 2013 she is approved for the KWPN studbook,  awarded the Ster Predicate, earning 8’s on her Jumping Scope & Technique.     

Quartz is a calm and quiet mare, with a gentle and kind disposition.  She is an excellent mother, and a wonderful addition to our program.  Thank you to Jenna from Ontario for allowing us to purchase her.
