Ster, Keur Eligible, PROK, D-OC
2012 KWPN Mare, 1.73cm (17.0+ Hands)
Parco / Goodtimes / Calvados / G. Ramiro Z
Hottie is the first filly from our top producing mare, Ulottie.
At this time we have retained Hottie for our program, and hope to persue a career in sport and breeding for her.
She is sired by the champion Belgian Warmblood stallion, Parco. Parco is a son of one of the greatest jumping stallions ever, Darco, who was at the top of the WBFSH sire standings for many years.
Parco jumped very successfully with Ludo Phillipaerts.
He had placings at every major European Championship, including the 2001 Nations Cup, World Cup Finals in 2003 & 2005, 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2006 World Equestrian Games. Many of his offspring are competing at the International and FEI levels of show jumping.
Hottie earned a First Premium award as a foal, and was in the prestigous KWPN Top 5 group of Jumper Foals for 2012.
She made her show ring debut in July 2013 at the Young Horse Show series, earning an overall 8.64, and remained the highest scored yearling for the series, leading up to the finals!
This classy mare has grown up into the whole package;
Good looks, correct conformation, fabulous mind and temperament, lovely gaits and plenty of jumping talent.
Her tall, dark and elegant good looks are complemented by her talent under saddle.
She is a scopey and brave jumper, with excellent form, and always eager to do her job. A pleasure to ride and show, this smart mare is always a favorite anywhere she goes.
She has her PROK and D-OC predicates from the KWPN, for passing their stringent genomic, X-ray and endoscopy standards. She has also earned the Ster predicate at her studbook inspection, and will become Elite upon passing her under saddle test.
Her first foal, Nickelottie SPF is a stunning filly by Grand Prix Jumper and Hunter Derby competitor, Dulf van den Bisschop.
Dulf is a leading sire of international jumpers; the sire of Harley van den Bisschop, ridden by Nicola Philippaerts, as well as rising star, Hanna ridden by Steve Guerdat.
