Sire Checkmate,  is a beautiful, correct and expressive stallion. He jumps with excellent form, technique and shows a lot of scope in addition to being a top mover. He possesses a generous temperament and is very willing to work. He is a sire of Premium foals that are stamped with his type and golden character. Under saddle they are a dream to ride! They are sweet and well mannered, jump with style and good form and are brave, easy and willing. Checkmate is sired by 1.60M stallion Check In, a son of the legendary Cordalme Z x Lord Pezi, from a performance producing damline.

Dam Z. Empress  is a KWPN sport predicated daughter of the legendary Judgement ISF.  She jumped to 1.40 with Nick Dello Joio, then stepped down to finish her career in the children’s jumpers. Empress' dam, Aerial was a Grand Prix jumper with Jill Henselwood. Empress is a quality mare that is supple and elastic with plenty of power, scope and desire to work.
